Nightmares are for real

It was dark in here. The first thing that popped into my head was daddy. I wanted to see him. He always knew what to do. And when dreams seemed to get real he showed me reality. So I didn't had to be afraid. If he could show up, tell me everything is alright, everything would be. I needed to speak to him. Chase away the demons of the night.
'Pappa! Pappa', I yelled. After those words I realised that the man who gave me everything wasn't there. He simply passed away like summer with the falling leafs. Gone.
Where ever he used to be, there was a gap. A large empty gap, and I felt it. Inside me there was a numb pain.
I was still saying those words. Only now they were soft, clouds breath.
No, I woke up in a nightmare. But this nightmare is called reality. And no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't escape this one. Because the remote controller got lost there is no return to the good times. All my life, it was thanks to my daddy I had it.
Without him I wouldn't had my mother nor my brother. I wouldn't be able to spread my wings and go living abroad.
My watery eyes opened. This wasn't my room. Nothing had been a dream. I was still inside the TARDIS. Katie would be the only one to help me. She couldn't be far.
So I wanted to climb out of my bed to go looking for her.
By suprise he was there, a strange man, the Doctor. I almost fell down out of suprise.
'Doctor', I whispered. He must have heard me. Immediatly I apoligised. It wasn't my intention to call him or wake him up.
'Are you alright?'
Art thou alright? Not really. My world has been intruded by dreams. I could still see the knight turning into the witch.
'Always. When I have sad thoughts, it has to be... at night', I mummered. This reffered to the fact that I realised my father wasn't there to change anything back to normal.
'What is it?'
'Nothing', I sobbed. But he knew there was something I couldn't hide.
'Just, my dad, I miss him. He always was there. And whenever he appeared, the world became normal. Without him dreams will take over me'
'Hmmm, he means that much to you?'
'Yes, ofcourse. He took care of me. You would have been that important too if you would have stayed watching me grow up'
Suddenly he started pulling handles and pressing buttons. The TARDIS made strange noises and I could feel us moving.
'There is something I did like to show you'
The doors opened.
