~~Chapter Seven~~

When we enter the shop, the old man smiles at us.

"Welcome! Would you like to eat?" He asks.

"YESSS!" Naruto, Jolien and I shout. Then I look at Jolien, confused about her shouting with us.

"Jolien, do you even know what we're gonna eat?"

"Yes! Everyone knows what ramen is, right?"

"I don't." Of course, that's Carrots response.

"I don't know either..." Judith says.

"I do!" Lindy says, with a grin on her face. I give her a thumbs up.

"Anyway, yes, we want to eat! Seven ramen please!"

"Make that six, please." Hiragii says.

"Why?!"

"I don't like ramen."

"Oww... why not?"

"No reason, just don't like it."

"Okay..."

We all sit down, and take a pair of chopsticks. I break mine apart, and look at my friends.

Jolien and Lindy have also broken theirs apart, and are talking to each other. At least they aren't in shock.

I can't say the same about Judith. She still looks like she has no idea where she is now (which is technically true), and wishes it's just a dream. I can understand that, because she doesn't really like anime. And yes, I tried to turn her into an Otaku. Didn't work though.

Carrot still looks mad at everything and everyone around him. Especially me and Naruto, at least I think so. he keeps shifting his glare between the two of us. Aw well... whatever.

Naruto looks very happy, though I can't see if it's because he's getting free ramen, or because he has a new roommate. If I were him, I would be happier with the ramen.

Then my thoughts are disrupted by a delicious scent. I turn my head towards the old man, who is standing before me with a huge bowl of ramen. It smells so good...

He puts it in front in me, and it also looks delicious. Then he gives everyone his or her bowl.

"Itadakimasu!" Naruto, Jolien, Lindy and me shout. Carrot and Judith thank the old man, and we all start eating. Only Hiragii is just sitting there.

After approximately ten minutes everyone has finished, and it was delicious! Everyone agrees about that, even Carrot and Judith. Naruto is the only one who wanted a second bowl, but Hiragii didn't allow him to order it.

So now we are on the way to our temporary home. I'm really excited now, and I'm just bouncing around.

"Dyonne, act normal. People are staring at us." Carrot complains. It sounds like it took him a while to get to the conclusion that the people here are people. Stupid Carrot.

"No, don't wanna!" I shoot him an evil grin.

He is right though, almost everyone we pass stares at us. I think it's because of our clothes, and the fact that no one has ever seen us before. At least I hope so, otherwise it would be kinda... creepy.

After another five minutes I see a familiar face. The long pink hair shocks me, as I almost can't remember Sakura without her short hair. It looks weird. I have to concentrate very hard to not shout her name.

It wasn't even needed, because Naruto is running towards her. We all walk after him, as it's exactly the direction we were already walking.

When we get near enough, we can just hear Sakura say: "Leave me alone, Naruto!" Before she walks away.

When we reach him, he looks really sad, though I'm probably the only one who can see that. He has a huge grin on his face, but it doesn't reach it's eyes. It's a look I've seen too many times in the anime. Poor him.

I decide not to say anything about it, and just walk past him, and they all follow. Then I see the apartment. It's huge...

"Oi, Hiragii, is that it?" And I point at it.

Hiragii nods. "Yes. How did you know?"

"Just a feeling..."

He shrugs and we walk the last bit. Then we go up the stairs. Within a few more minutes we are in front of the door of our new apartment.

"First I'll show you your apartment, and then we'll go to Naruto's, alright?" Hiragii says.

"Yeah, fine with me!" Naruto replies happily. Hiragii opens the door and we all go inside.

Once inside, we get a small tour of the house. There are two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and a small living room. It looks very nice, and there is enough space for four people. There is almost no furniture, only a few chairs in the living room, and a few things in the kitchen, like a refrigerator and a table. And of course a shower and a toilet in the bathrooms.

"For now you'll have to use futons to sleep on... And until you graduate from the Academy and become genin, we'll give you money for food and the like. After that you'll be able to complete missions to earn money. Alright?"

"That is, if we're here that long..." Carrot mumbles.

"Not so negative, of course we're gonna be here a long time! Do you have any idea how to get home anyway? I don't. So why not just make the best of it, and stop being so depressed! You too, Judith!!" Jolien says. I laugh.

"Anyway, thanks, Hiragii! It looks great. Can we go look at Naruto's apartment now?" I say.

"I think it's best if you stay here and get some rest... I'm sure you need it. Then Schelte can go with Naruto, and you can go take a look there tomorrow if you want. Alright?"

"But...! Aww whatever... Hai hai, we get it. Bye Bye Carrot, Bye Bye Naruto!!" I wave at them enthusiastically, and Jolien and Lindy join in. Carrot rolls his eyes, Naruto waves back.

"See you tommorow!" Judith says.

Carrot and Naruto walk away, together with Hiragii. When I hear the door close loudly, I turn around and run to the closest bathroom.

"I claim this shower!!" I shout, and close the door.

-Naruto POV-

"You're called Carrot, right? It's a weird name!" I say to my new roommate.

"It's not Carrot. It's Schelte."

"Still a weird name." Wow, he's gloomy...

"Where can I sleep? I'm tired." He asks.

"Wow, how can you be tired?! I'm super excited! This is the first time I'm having a sleepover! Even though it's not really a sleepover..." I jump up and down.

"Yeah, whatever... I'm still tired."

"Alright, alright... I have a futon, I'll get it for you..." I sigh. He's so boring!! I take the futon out of the closet, and give it to him.

"Thanks... Can I put it here?"

"Yeah, of course!" I put on my pajamas, and sit on my bed.

"Damn, I don't have other clothes." Carrot/Schelte says when he finishes putting his futon on the floor.

"You'll probably get something tomorrow. Didn't you hear what Hiragii said?"

"Yeah, yeah... By the way, where are your parents?" I know he doesn't mean to hurt me with that question, but it still does... a lot.

"They're... dead." I put my arms around my knees. "They died along time ago."

"Oww... I'm sorry, I didn't know." He looks around my room, looking like he doesn't know what to say.

"Of couse you didn't, how could you know? You've been here less than a day!" I laugh, even though I don't feel like laughing. I search for another subject, because I don't wanna talk about my parents... "So... where do you guys come from?"

"Far, far away... I'm sure you've never been there."

"That's... specific..."

"I can't say more, Dyonne said we couldn't say anything." I can see in his eyes that he realizes the mistake he just made.

"It's a secret?! Now I wanna know even more!! Tell me, tell me!! Please...?!" I look at him with puppy eyes.

"Err... alright... But don't tell anyone else."

"I won't!! What's your home like?"

"Well, first you have to know, we're not from this world. We're fr-"

"WHAT?! ANOTHER WORLD?! THAT'S SO AWESOME!!" I shut up when he glares at me.

"We're from another world, and we have no idea how we came here... Dyonne tricked us into watching anime, an-"

"What's anime? Is it edible? Why would you watch something if it's edible? You should just eat it!" I get suspicious when I see the look of hesitation in his eyes. It's something I can't know...

"Anime is... actually, I have no idea myself. Dyonne, Jolien and Lindy love it, but Judith and I hate it. So, anyway, she tricked us into watching it, and then everything went black and we woke up in the woods.. Then we met some guy with porcupine hair, and we were brought here."

"Wow... What was your world like? Are there ninjas? Can you use chakra? You can, right? How could you possible live without ninjas and chakra..?"

"No, we don't have this 'chakra' you all keep talking about. We DO have ninjas though... but mostly on TV."

"What's TV?" It's really easy to see I shocked him a lot with that question. I wonder what's so special about this 'TV'?

"Uhmm... you don't have TV here?"

"Nope. So, what is it?"

"Well... it's kinda like a box, and you can watch things on it... Wait, if you don't have televisions... Do you have cars?"

"What's that?"

"Never mind... Bikes?"

"Nope."

"Then how do you get from one place to another?"

"Duh... we walk." How can he be so stupid? How else could we get anywhere? And what the heck is he talking about? Then I see the horrified look on his face.

"You mean... you walk? Like, always?"

"Yep."

"Damn... Aww, whatever! I'm gonna sleep! Good Night!" He steps into the futon, and lies down. He turns his back to me, and doesn't say another word.

"Good night! Remember, we have to go to the Academy tomorrow, so wake up on time!" I say, and I snuggle into my bed, and within a few minutes, I'm fast asleep.

-Didi POV-

"Waaaaahhh... I CAN'T SLEEP!!!"

After we all showered, we put our futon's on the floor of the biggest of the two bedrooms. That was an hour ago. Since then Judith has tried to sleep, which didn't work out, because Jolien, Lindy and me were talking too loudly. So that scream just now... wasn't me. It was Juju.

"You talk much too loud! Aren't you tired?"

"Nope." Jolien and I say in unison.

"It's not like we're able to sleep with Didi here..." Lindy says.

"Aww well, then I'll just go to sleep when you're all gonna sleep... Cause this doesn't work." She sits up, and rubs her eyes. "So what're you talking about?"

"We were discussing what we're gonna do now... I mean, it's not like we can stay here, right?" Lindy says.

"Why not? It's fun here!" I say, and grin.

"Because of everyone in our world! What will our parents think? And we just poofed out of the media room! I think... But anyway, they'll miss us there! And we don't have any of our stuff here! But then again, it's not like we know how to get back..."

"You're both right... It is a lot of fun here, up until now, at least... But we still have to get back... somehow." Jolien says.

"I just think we have to get back as soon as we can. By the way, Dyonne, I'm still wondering what happened to your contacts. Were they from this anime? From Naruto?" Judith asks.

"Yeah, they were... MAYBE I CAN USE THE SHARINGAN NOW!!" I get three blank looks in response. "That's what those eyes are called... Sharingan. Only the Uchiha clan can use them... With a few exceptions. But anyway, that would be sooo awesome! I could annoy Sasuke with them!" I see they still don't follow what I'm saying... whatever.

"By the way, what happened to our bags? We had them with us at school... but now everything is gone." Lindy says.

"Aw, who cares. the only things in there were books." Jolien replies.

"My phone was in mine, and my money..." Judith sighs.

"Huh? Why didn't we think of this earlier? Maybe our phones work here! And I have ten euros in my pocket..." Lindy says.

"You can try your phone, but the money won't work here... The currency here is Ryou." I say. "I also have my phone with me... but I won't try it. It probably won't work anyway~" I grin.

"Then I'll try mine..." Lindy takes out her phone, and pushes some buttons. "Damn... doesn't work..." She sighs.

"Mine doesn't work either!" Jolien says.

"Told you so~" I sing.

"Hmm... well, whatever. Can we just talk with Carrot tomorrow? Maybe he can think of something... And I'm getting really tired now... I'm going to sleep." Lindy yawns.

"Yeah, me too... Good night!" Jolien says, and lies down.

"Good... Night..." judith is already half asleep, I guess.

"Oyasumi~" I lie down as well, and close my eyes.
