~~Chapter Three~~

While we’re rushing through the village, I suddenly realize something.

"Ehmm… guys? Wasn’t I wearing my contacts when we were at school…? I am not still wearing them, am I? I think Kotetsu would have reacted differently…" I say, while turning to my friends.

"You were wearing them… I’m sure of that. But they’re gone now…" Jolien answers.

"Damn… where did they go?! I paid for them!" I shake my fist at the air.

"Stop talking, and walk faster!" Kotetsu says.

"Hai hai…" I reply.

"One yes is enough!"

"Hai hai…"

Kotetsu growls. It sounds funny.

After walking, or rather running, for a few minutes, we arrive at the building where the Hokage is.

"This is also bigger than I expected!!" I yell.

"Shut up."

"No."

Another growl. I snicker.

We go up the stairs and walk through the long corridor. Then we get to the door that leads to the office of Old Man Sarutobi.

Kotetsu raises his hand to knock, but he’s too late. I have already opened the door and jumped inside. While the others come in, I stand there gawking at the room. It looks exactly like in the anime! Awesome…

"Forgive me, Lord Hokage… These “travellers” don’t seem to know any manners… I found them in the woods and they won’t answer my questions, so I brought them here." Kotetsu glares at me.

"Hey, I know manners! Don’t assume I’m the same as Dyonne…" Schelte complains.

"Oh, shut up, Carrot. By the way… Hi, Old Man Sarutobi!!" I wave enthusiastically.

The Hokage looks at me with a curious gaze.

"Oh yeah, Kotetsu-chan… shouldn’t you remind the Old Man of the fact that Naruto is painting on the statues?" I wiggle my eyebrows at him.

Kotetsu freezes. "Yes! Lord Hokage, Naruto is vandalizing the statues of the Hokages!"

The old man sighes. "Not again… Well, go catch him then! And bring him here… wait, no, let Iruka get him, and take him to class." Then he looks at us. Kotetsu speeds away.

"And what about you? Who exactly are you children?"

"First, I don’t like being called a kid, even though I behave as one. Second, I am Dyonne, but everyone calls me Didi…" I grin. Then I nod in the direction of my friends, who are still clearly shocked about this whole situation, except Jolien.

"I am Jolien! You know, you look old…" I glare at her, and mouth: Don’t piss him off! That’s my job.

"Uhmm… I am Lindy… nickname is Lily."

"My name is Lord Schelte Pieter Van-"

"Enough information, Carrot… Next!" I yell.

"Well… I am Judith…" She blushes.

"So, that’s us!!" I can’t seem to stop yelling. Too hyperactive I guess.

The Hokage still looks at us with that curious gaze. "What are you doing in Konoha?"

"Well, we weren’t actually in Konoha, but in the woods. Kotetsu brought us here." I smile.

"Yes, I understand that. What were you doing in the woods then?"

"Sleeping."

"Sleeping?"

"Yeah, sleeping."

He sighs.

"WHY were you sleeping in the woods?"

"I don’t know."

"What do you mean, you don’t know?"

"Exactly what I said. I. Don’t. Know."

He looks at my friends.

"Do you know why you were sleeping in the woods?"

"We were unconscious, though I don’t know why. I guess we fell." Schelte says.

"Fell? From where?"

"Our wor-"

"Out of a tree." I interrupt him.

"You wanted to say something else, right… Schelte?"

"Yes, our wor-"

"TREE!"

Now they are both glaring at me. Teehee.

"Wait, I’ll talk to her." Schelte says to the old man. Then he turns to me, and whispers: "Why can’t we tell him? He’s the boss, right? Maybe he can help us get back…"

"He won’t believe us…"

"You never know."

"I do."

"Don’t."

"Shut up, guys. I think we should tell him." Judith says, and the others nod.

I sigh. "Alright, but I’ll tell him, cuz I kinda know him."

They nod in agreement and we turn to the old man again.
