‘I love you, honey.’ My mom said after I had put my suitcase in the trunk of the taxi. I sighed and turned to her, time to say goodbye. ‘I love you too, mom.’ I said and I hugged her tightly. ‘I’m going to miss you sweetie, always the sunshine in the morning.’ She said and I chuckled. ‘I’m gonna miss you too mom.. and your cookies.’ And said I she giggled. ‘now go, before the taxi’s gonna leave without you.’ She said and I nodded. ‘I’ll text or call when I’m there.’ I said and gave her a kiss. ‘ok, honey. Have fun!’ I got in the taxi and waved at my mom for the last time. Then we drove away. I felt my eyelids get heavy, I hadn’t been able to sleep last night. I was too excited. I was seeing forward to this, I loved new things, new adventures. Ah well, I hoped I had a nice roommate, not too messy (‘cause I was like a pig, we couldn’t really use another one.) and not a player, I didn’t want to get trouble with all those girls walking around in our room. Slowly I fell asleep, wondering about how my life would be from now on.

When I looked back I saw my sisters and my mother, she was crying. Was this the right thing to do? I was still not really sure. I wanted to do this, but if I hurt people (like my mother) with it, would it still be right? ´This is the way to success´ that's what it said in the folder of the college, I hoped so! The trip to the campus would take 2 hours, with some music I would survive it. Slowly I fell in sleep, the last think I had on my mind was: ´I hope my roommate will be nice, not someone who is always moody! Suddenly my phone rang, it was my mother. ´Hi mom´ I said. ´hi honey you forgot your phone´ she replied. ´mom, you are calling on my phone´. ´o, yes ofcourse I just wanted to hear your voice, you promise u will call everyday?´ she asked sadly. ´ofcourse I will call you everyday mom, don´t worry about that!´ ´alright, I love you´. ´I love you too mom!´ then she was gone, I put the phone back in my pocket. After a few minutes I fell asleep.
