Once Lily reaches adolocence she starts thinking about her past and the present more and more. She is haunted by regrets. And seems to be redeemed to repeat the past over and over again. Unsure of what life will bring her, she starts writing in a diary. She is convinced that no one, apart from her diary will understand the way she feels. Lily feels alone and lately she has been drifting apart from her friends more and more. She has a boyfriend, Aden, who loves her but will he continue to love her once he finds out how troubled she is ? And is this boyfriend really what she wants?

''All the things we didn't say. Those are the things I regret most. They never seem to leave me alone. I'm always haunted by the past. I can never quite let go. And that's what gets me down'', Lily said.
''Why is it so hard for you to let go? There's no way to change what has already happenned. There is no use repeating conversations in your head, over and over again, thinking of all the things you should have said. You'll only make yourself feel even worse. You are haunting yourself. And it's time for you to stop and free yourself from the past. It's time to let go and live again. Be happy, live free, you're only young once. Enjoy life. Life is too beautiful to miss out on. And too short to waste another day'', Aden said. '' I love you, we'll figure it out together'', he added. Lily smiled at him, then looked away and whispered:''No, you'll give up on me, like everyone else'', to herself.
