Nevermore Academy

Nevermore Academy is een apart gebouw van de Nevermore High School (waar Enid Sinclair en Wednesday Addams op zitten). Hier worden de universitaire lessen gegeven aan leerlingen. De leerlingen blijven echter wel slapen in hun oude gebouw, maar de bovenste slaapkamers van de torens zijn voor hen gereserveerd.

Students are permitted to wear hoodies underneath their blazers, and gorgons wear beanies to cover their snakes. Both articles match the same shade of indigo as the standard blazer. Sirens wear a necklace that cancels their siren voice, preventing the manipulation of others.
ACTIVITIES & EVENTS
Parent's Day/Parents' Weekend
A weekend in which all students meet their parents to enhance their relationship. They share picnics and lunches. It is not unusual to see some students who are usually not visited by their parents, such as Xavier Thorpe or Bianca Barclay.
Outreach Day
A day in which Jericho's citizens interact with students of Nevermore, who participate in preselected activities. It occurs annually on Jericho's anniversary to honor its founder, Joseph Crackstone, and form bonds between outcasts and "normies."
Edgar Allan Poe Cup
A race in which students canoe to Raven Island, where they grab flags that they must bring back to the finish line. In Chapter II, Wednesday and her roommate Enid Sinclair compete against Xavier Thorpe, Bianca Barclay, Kent, and Divina. It has been running since 1897. It is said that Morticia Addams has won the Poe Cup 4 times.
Rave'N
The Rave'N is the Nevermore ball; it is not compulsory. The ball is organized around a specific theme (in 2022, by Marilyn Thornhill, professor of botanical sciences and mom of Ophelia Hall). A DJ is present in front of a large ice statue. Students can invite each other to dance and apparently invite normies as partners; for example, Enid Sinclair goes to the ball with Lucas Walker.
Solstice Talent Show
Morticia and Larissa did a duet together during their time at Nevermore.

A large greenhouse contains a classroom where students learn about carnivorous plants. Marilyn Thornhill teaches and maintains the plants. She is Ophelia Hall's dorm mom, so she gives each student a flower from the greenhouse that reflects their personality.
Quad

The Quad is a large outdoor area surrounded by walls and walkways. In its center is a fountain with a large dead tree. At its edge is a statue of Edgar Allan Poe.
Principal's office
This office is where Larissa Weems runs the school and has meetings with parents and students. It contains a fireplace that often burns at night, a desk with all the things Larissa owns, and her laptop (a MacBook from Apple). There are a lot of lamps, and the office is elegantly decorated with several chandeliers and armchairs. Larissa is seated in a large leather armchair with wheels.
This office is connected to the principal's personal quarters via a door at the side of the office, across from the fireplace.
Weem's Private Library
The headmistress has her own library, locked with a key that she always wears around her neck, where she keeps her own books. She does not let other students read these books and keeps them only for herself.
Raven Island
Contains Crackstone's Crypt, which houses the tomb of Joseph Crackstone. Students have been known to sneak away here after hours.
Lupen Cages
Where Werewolf students are locked into while they wolf-out during certain moons, likely for safety reasons. It sounds ominous, but it isn't. There is a lot of space for each werewolf individually, they are locked up by one of their friends that they feel comfortable with. There is a lot of meat for the wolves and they can't attack each other. This is where they ended up during the full moons.
Hummers Workshop
This small building was used by the Hummers for storing equipment, beekeeping suits, and hibernating bees. All of the beehives for honey production are kept outside of the workshop. Eugene Ottinger, the Hummers' founder and president, cares for the bees deeply.
Bradbury Tower
Bradbury Tower is an abandoned wing of Nevermore, allegedly built to sequester Nevermore students who were Hydes. 30 Years ago, Hydes were forbidden, so the tower was abandoned.

Students can practice here.

De academie is verbonden aan de High School, maar je moet over een ander plein lopen om er te komen (zoals hierboven). Het is een leeg veldje, dat gebruikt kan worden voor verscheidene evenementen (zoals een kampvuur).

“The Lake”
The poem entitled “The Lake” by Edgar Allan Poe is a story of lost love. In the poem the lake has a double meaning representing not only the body of water which the story takes place around, but also a state of happiness, love, and fulfillment.
''The Lake'' goes around the school like a half circle. It is a wide river and the other side is considered ''Raven Island''. Here is the tomb of Joseph Crackstone.

Nevermore is surrounded by a long, dark forest.
R U L E S
- Geen trips naar de stad of in de bossen vanaf 20.00, dan gaan de gates op slot.
- Iedereen in hun slaapzaal om 21.00.
- Tijdens schooluren wordt altijd het uniform gedragen.
- Geen gevechten, geweld richting ''normies'' of andere ''outcasts'' is verboden. Een gevecht krijgt je per direct een verbanning van de school.
- Weerwolven gaan tijdens volle manen in de cages.
- Vampieren krijgen nepbloed of bloed van overleden dieren, geen mensenbloed. Als een vampier een andere leerling besluit te veranderen, krijgen ze ook per directe verbanning.
- Sirenen dragen kettingen, zodat ze andere studenten niet kunnen verleiden. Gorgoles dragen een hoofdband, zodat ze andere leerlingen niet tot steen veranderen. Dit geldt ook voor andere leerlingen, geen onverantwoordelijk gebruik van magie.
- Behandel de ander, zoals je zelf behandelt wilt worden.
- Geen heren op de kamers van de dames en andersom.
- De studenten mogen telefoons hebben, maar tijdens de lessen zijn ze verboden in de lokalen. De school heeft zware straffen op privacy schending en online bullying. Foto's maken van andere leerlingen of foto's / video's maken waar andere leerlingen opstaan en die zomaar op sociale media delen, is verboden. Hierom zijn mobiele telefoons niet prominent in beeld.
- Geen huisdieren toegestaan!! Die kunnen helaas mogelijk prooi vallen aan verschillende leerlingen...
