The extracurriculars

E X T R A C U R R I C U L A R S
      Every student is obliged to choose one and fully participate until the end of the year. Multiple clubs or sports can be chosen.

C L U B S

      1. Alchemy club: A club where especialy curious students can pursue simple or even complex research with help from teachers that look over the vlub.

      2. "Sky-tographers": a club dedicated to the art of divination and seeing and charting distant stars and astral bodies that are far away. Kind of an astrology club.

      3. History Club - an academic club for those seeking additional support for their studies. The club dedicated to studying history and lore.

      4. Campus Garden Club: Dedicated to making the campus look prettier.

      5. Non-Arcane Being Rights Club: discussing how magical beings can cause harm or bring aid to those without magic. They also focus on raising awareness of the “outcast” in the nearby town of Jericho, by volunteering to hand out information flyers and giving speeches.

      6. Debate Club: topics include "Friend or Foe" when is it ethical to use enchantment spells to manipulate someone, especially if they're taking too long ordering their food at the Mess Hall and you know exactly what you want and if you happen to have ''Dominate Person'' spell prepared that day.

      7. Robotics Club : This is mainly a cover name for what really goes on in the club. While they are partly focused on technique, creating and building robots and competing in competitions about it, they also sometimes have battles with their built robots. They then have them fight to see who built the best robot.

      8. Yoga-club: This club teaches yoga and focuses on finding inner peace. A club that is very popular with students who suffer a lot from stress in their studies. Classes are given outside and inside.

      9. The News Paper Club: This one is especially for the writers, photographers or maybe editors among us. Do you want to be part of something bigger or practice for the future? Then this is the club for you! A journalistic club that keeps track of all the gossip and news on Nevermore Academy.

      10. The Witch Club: The Nevermore Witch Club is completely focused on performing witch things. This includes holding Seances, talking and reading about rituals, exchanging and using crystals, and they even have a Ouija board.

11. Painting club: This club is for people who did not choose the study, but still want to continue their hobby or for those who cannot paint like ''Van Gogh'', but still want to paint or clay. There are special hours for these students to use the art room and to go their own way and sometimes also get lessons from a teacher, if they want to learn more.

S P O R T S

      11. Swimming Team: The swimming team, which also competes against the ''normie'' school in Jericho. A special pool has been built for this team in the school, where the students learn to swim competitively under the supervision of an instructor.

      12. Magic Carpet Racing Club: Fairly self-explanatory. Unfortunately, it is constantly at risk of being shut down due to the high cost of magic carpets.

      13. Chess Team: The club is based around playing and coming up with inivative way of playing chess, ranging from using magic to play chess in mid air, making a true 4d chess board or just see who can out cheat eachother when two diviners play against each other.

      14. Gymnastics Team: Gymnastics is taught in the school's sports hall, which also gives students the option of practicing this sport and competing.

      15. The Rowing Team: This is for the rowers among us. The school has a wide range of rowing boats, which allowed the school to set up a rowing team. The rowing team consists of students who love being on the water. During the Poe-Cub, they are only allowed to represent their own house and not form their own team.
