Destiney dit moet gewoon lukken, doe alsof je dit elke dag doet. Ik opende mijn mond waar gelukkig nu wel wat uit kwam en begon te zingen, mijn vingers gleden over de snaren van de gitaar, laat het goed gaan bad ik.

Iedereen was op een of andere manier stil geworden, ze staarde me allemaal aan, of het goed was wist ik niet.

Ik voelde me steeds blijer om meet e zingen, het was geweldig om dit te doen.

Lachend zwaaide ik met tranen in mijn ogen naar iedereen en liep het podium af, dit was geweldig, dit is wat ik wou gaan doen mijn leven lang. ‘’DESTINEY!!!!! DAT WAS GEWELDIG!’’ Bill rende op me af en omhelsde me. ‘’Nu is het jouw beurt.’’ zei ik lachend en haalde de ketting van mijn nek af. ‘’Het heeft inderdaad gewerkt.’’ En ik hing hem weer aan zijn nek. ‘’Dit was niet je laatste optreden!’’ zei hij en omhelsde me snel en gaf me nog een zoen. ‘’Succes.’’ Zei ik blij.
