OO1 || Prologue
Enkel de proloog is in zij-vorm. Normaal is de rest in ik-vorm vanuit Eleanor, behalve als jullie dit aangenamer vinden om de te lezen. Hope you enjoy! <3
Oh, als je de verhaallijn niet goed snapt, zeg het dan ook even. Ik twijfel of dit het duidelijk maakt namelijk :')

The girl stared at the door when the familiar squeak sounded, like it always did when it opened. She expected to see her friend and guard Aaron. But it wasn’t him. Two guards she had never seen before came in the cell. “What’s happening?” the girl asks while backing away from the guards. One of them had the electro stick and the other had something that looked like an iron bracelet in his hands. “Your right arm,” the one with the iron thing demanded. “Why? I have done nothing wrong!” she defended herself while her back reached the wall and she couldn’t back away any further.
“Just do what they ask, Ela...” a familiar voice sounds from the door. “Aaron?” she whispers. He is the only one she trusts. Well, to be honest since she got in here he was the only one to visit her. Aaron looked to her and nodded. She slowly raises her right arm, that has some scars showing. Most of those happened when she was training. Aaron, as a guard knew how to fight. He trained her since she was 14. Now, it’s five years later and she is almost 19. And she got very skilled at it. Only her aiming was still not perfect, they couldn’t really train that in a 6 by 6 meters cell. Because that was all she had.
The bracelet went tight around her arm and the guards took her by the arms. “Let’s go,” they said and Aaron got out of the doorway so they could pass. “What? I’m not getting floated am I? Aaron? I did nothing!” She slightly panicked and almost wanted to defend herself by attacking the guards. But Aaron his face stopped her. He knew she would try something if he didn’t say that it was okay. “It’s okay...” he whispered and his face broke just a bit. But that was enough for Ela to know there was something wrong. “Where are we going?” Ela asked when Aaron asked the guards if he could bring her instead. They accepted that and walked out of the door. Aaron held her arm and took her outside her cell. For almost 5 years, she finally came outside the walls. What she saw, was very confusing. All the cells were getting emptied. The criminals were struggling but there were just too many guards. “I tried. But only one person of the council didn’t want you to go...” Aaron whispered. “The Chancellor sends his own son, so it was impossible... You have to come. They need 100...”
The girl looked at him. “Go to where? 100 what?” she asked even more confused. “You and 99 criminals are getting send to The Ground,” and his eyes focus on the floor, because he couldn’t look at her knowing she could die down there. The girl shut her mouth. No one has gone to The Ground in 97 years. The radioactivity was very big down there because of the nuclear war in 2025. Well, it’s been almost 100 years so maybe it was survivable. But why 100 people? It’s like they need people dead... And all of them were normally locked up for a crime, except she of course. She was locked up because her mom was dead basically and her dad didn’t want people to know of her. It’s been actually five years she saw him. He hasn’t visit even once all those years. And she hated him because of that. He let her mother get floated and locked her up because she was an embarrassment for him. He was part of the Council and that’s why probably. Well, she wasn’t sure because he never told her. One day her mom got floated and the other day she woke up in this cell. Not knowing she had to spend 5 years of her life her. She was so upset then... A little confused 14 year old girl. She felt exactly the same now. One moment she was in her cell and the other she was in a ship, ready to go to the ground and maybe die.
