"He... He..." Meer hoor ik niet. Meer wil ik ook niet horen. De tranen blijven over mijn wangen stromen en ik heb moeite om te zien of ik nergens tegen aan loop. Maar als ik nog minder zie ga ik zitten. Hoe kan Liam dit doen? Wat bezielde hem? Normaal is hij altijd de rust zelf. Hij slaat er alleen op los als het echt niet anders kan. zoals die keer dat Harry zo dronken was en hij dacht dat Niall hem wilde doden. De had haast niks geschild of Niall was zelf dood gegaan. Maar Liam was tussen Niall en Harry in gesprongen, heeft Harry beetgegrepen en hem rustig laten worden. Daarna was het wel enkeltje ziekenhuis. Maar Niall had gelukkig niks gebroken of iets ergs. Tommo wordt rustig. Maar tegen jezelf in jezelf boos worden werkt niet. Andere aanpak dan maar. Zingen. Dat werkt meestal rustgevend.

Het klinkt zacht en huilerig uit mijn mond. Maar het laat mijn tranen iets minder hard stromen.

Een enkele traan stroomt nog over mijn wangen.

De tranen zijn gestopt en mijn stem klink ook nog wel zacht maar wel gewoon.

Een glimlach siert mijn mond na het zingen van mijn stukje. Wat hou ik toch van dit lied.

Ongemerkt ben ik harder gaan zingen.

Ik open mijn ogen. Ik kijk naar een gang die ik niet ken. Maar ik heb een richtingsgevoel van een ezel en ik zit hier nog maar net dus dat is voor mij normaal.

Niall, hoe zal het met hem zijn? Niall houd zo erg van deze solo. Iedereen wilde deze maar Niall kreeg die. Persoonlijk vind ik is het de mooiste solo van al onze liederen.

Ik sta op en loop naar mijn kamer. Of ieder geval ik doe een poging tot.

"Lou" komt het achter een deur vandaan. En gelijk word daarna komt er een knal uit die zelfde kamer. Maar het klonk als Niall. Ik open de deur en zie Niall liggen. "NILA" gil ik en ik kniel bij Niall neer. Ik til Niall op mijn schoot en strijk over zijn haar. Maar ik trek meteen mijn hand terug als ik iets kleverig voel. Er glimt wat roods op mijn hand. Bloed. Op dat moment komt Nila komt binnen en ziet Niall tegen mij aan leunen. Meteen pakt ze haar walky talky. "we hebben een code rood voor kamer 45. Patiënt buiten bewustzijn en heeft zo te zien een hoofdwond." nog geen twee secondes later staan er twee mannen naast me. Ze tillen Niall op en leggen hem op een brandkar. "wat gaan ze doen?" "Niall word naar het ziekenhuis gebracht." "Niall word beter, toch?" Nila zegt een lange tijd niks. Daarna loopt ze weg. En tegen de tijd dat de deur gesloten is. Lig ik in Niall's bed. Huilend.
